Happy 1st of October to you all and welcome to another month of inspiration from ChickenSoup.

Announcing the new ChickenSoup Cooks!

It is time!

After much deliberation these last few days the existing cooks have chosen a talented four crafters to join us in providing inspiration based on our weekly recipe's - this taking our design team to a bakers dozen!. We would like to take another opportunity to thank each and every one of you who applied. It has been a pleasure viewing your submissions and you have certainly contributed towards a very difficult decision in choosing our new dt members.

Unlucky for some 13, but not for us here at ChickenSoup! Happy Friday blog readers, and welcome back!

Here we are again with another inspiration for you, to kickstart those creative juices flowing, to sooth your poorly crafty mojo, or to just inspire you to think outside the box.

This weeks inspiration came from Ann and her observation that the fashion industry has seen a ruffles and lace trend over the summer. With plenty of frills and spills and gorgeous femine colours how will you be inspired this week? Maybe you will stray from paper this week and incorporate some materials or lace into your projects!

As always our design team were inspired to create a diverse set of examples for you to peruse.

Tonight's recipe was provided by Clare and takes us back to the good old days filled with romance and elegance. What in this film poster will inspire you ... the design, the colours, or perhaps your own tale of romance?

Welcome back readers to another Friday evening reveal here on ChickenSoup.

Have you seen our Design Team Call? Take a look at the post previous to this to discover all you need to know to apply to join us here in the kitchen and become a ChickenSoup chef!

This week's recipe has produced some very different work from our chefs, with no two projects looking anything alike!

The recipe came in to being following an internet search for butterfly images which are so popular in both scrapbooking and cardmaking lately and the design team work certainly shows how one image can inspire us all in very different ways!

Will the butterfly inspire your creative wings to take flight this weekend, or will you reach for the mists and paints and get messy? Whatever you do be sure to share your creations here on the blog by leaving a comment to be in with a chance to win with our sponsor this month The Craft Emporium.

Roll up, roll up , who wants to be a ChickenSoup Chef?

Now is your chance, and here is what we are looking for and how to submit:

• Three examples of your best work, at least one of which must be based on a ChickenSoup recipe - these can be layouts, cards or other papercraft projects you may wish to share


• A link to your blog or online gallery so we can see your overall style and find out a little more about you.


• A committment to participate at least once a month by taking inspiration from the recipes and producing a papercraft project (layout, card or other) to be displayed on the blog to inspire others


• A clear headshot photograph of yourself for displaying on the Soup blog if you are appointed as a Soup Chef!
  
  When do we need this by?
  Midnight GMT on Sunday September 26th is the deadline to send your submissions to us.
  
  How do you apply?
  Send us the information requested above in an email to chickensoupdt@hotmail.co.uk
  We will confirm each application with a responding email and hope to annouce the new design team members by the beginning of October!
